Mumbai

Mumbai initially started off as seven separate islands. The city, as it is known today, came to exist after conjoining these islands together to create this grand, island paradise. It has a population of seventeen million people, making it not only the largest city in India, but also one of the largest cities in the world.

You may recognize Mumbai from thousands of Bollywood films, where it starred as the prime location for the movies. This has allowed Mumbai to grow in recognition even more so with its attractive scenery and thriving atmosphere.

Each individual community in Mumbai’s large stature has become successful in sharing its charming and unique character. Mumbai is represented by many differing cultures, and while they all stay true to themselves, they also create an interesting and diverse link to remain harmonious with one another.

Each section and neighborhood is different, so prepare for more than just one trip when visiting Mumbai! This city is loaded with culture and migrations, all of which are quite proud to show their individuality. This offers visitors and residents such a pleasant variety and option to embrace new traditions.

South Mumbai has the highest rates of tourism, and is recommended by all due to the rich and wealthy neighborhoods, the museums, high quality and upscale restaurants, bars and art galleries.

No matter what area of Mumbai you find yourself drawn to, each experience is incredibly incomparable to the next. Scout the outdoor activities such as the beaches, zoos and gardens, or find yourself under the roofs of some of the oldest buildings in existence, like the colonial-style Gateway of India, or taking in the walls of Fort St. George.

Strolling around Mumbai, your eyes will be filled with your surroundings, and your heart will be filled with love for this island-based city.
